After a disappointing 2018-2019 NBA season Danny Ainge and the Boston Celtics ended the season with more questions then answers. Including what were they gonna do with their 4 Draft Picks for last nights NBA Draft. For months it had been rumored the Celtics could trade several if not all those picks away to the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for All-Star big man Anthony Davis however less then a week before the NBA Draft the Pelicans traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers after the Celtics decreased their offer due to their fears that getting Davis would no longer guarantee that Kyrie Irving would resign with the team. Eventually just 48 hours prior to the NBA Draft after reports had come out that the Celtics were starting to prepare for a future without Kyrie Irving news broke that the Celtics were talking with Center Al Horford about him resiging only for later that night the news to break that things in the negotiations had gone south and Horford had broken off the talks with the Celtics and will not look to get a contract somewhere else. This now means the Celtics will be without both Kyrie Irving and Al Horford next season the Celtics still have 2 key players in Marcus Morris and Terry Rozier up in the air with 2 weeks to go before free agency. Many feel Horford walked out because it is looking more lkely that the Celtics are headed to a rebuild with Tatum and Brown as the main stars of the team and will not remain title contenders. So with last nights draft finally taken place and Ainge having 4 picks overall. Can we confirm that a rebuild is exactly where we are heading based on Danny Ainges moves. Did he opt to go with 4 kids out of college rather then trading the picks away? Or did he manage to make a move and get a legit NBA Star and show hes still all in on title contention?
