After assisting on 26 of 36 made shots last game against the Knicks, the game plan went right out the window. This may have been the ugliest basketball game of all time. The Celtics did win this game 101-98 in OT against the Pacers so it's not all bad but it was pretty close to it. The Celtics shot just 39.8% from the field and 28.6% from 3 with just 17 assists and 20 total turnovers. Yes, that is the stat line of the winning team... That right there should validate my statement about this being the ugliest game ever. Jaylen Brown was actually the only starter that didn't have a turnover and if you took out the fact that he shot 11-26 (which is still higher than the team average) he played a really solid game. He also led the team with 6 assists (no other starter had more than 1) which was good to see. Timelord was the only other player that had a solid game contributing 14pts 12reb 4stl and 3blk and at times was the best source of offense we had. Everybody would drive and miss and Timelord would be there to put it back. Outside of those two, this was a tough one. Tatum shot 7-21 from the field with 8 TOs and was off almost the entire night outside of the mid range he hit with 1.8 seconds left to force OT. At this point, be happy with an ugly win and move on.
