The Celtics found themselves in another OT game but came out of this one with a big W! Schroder, while he did turn the ball over 6 times, played fantastic basketball today scoring 38 points. Schroder had 11 points in the 4th and 8 in OT and was showing the world how lethal his stop and go is. He is so quick and was getting to the rim with ease tonight and it was much needed. The thing that stands out to me tonight is the defense yet again. Prior to tonight, the Celtics defense has ranked 2nd in the NBA in defensive rating with a 99.7, 2nd in the NBA in opponent 3pt FG % at 27.9% and 3rd in the NBA in points allowed at 99.2. Coming into this season, many were saying this should be a top 5 defensive team in the NBA and in the last 7 games, they have shown that. Tonight was another stellar defensive performance. If they can keep this level of intensity up, this team's ceiling is a lot higher than most people think.
