c2eMusic February 2014 - Deep Bounce

Initially this month's podcast was looking like being a very mellow chilled affair.  The tracks being purchased seemed to be on the deep side, the kind you would find in the early part of a mix.  Don't ask me how, but the result is something very different (speeding up predominantly 122BPM tracks to 124 might have something to do with it.)The mix has a real bounce through it.  The first hour is full of great head nodding, foot tapping tunes.  The second hour starts to thicken up, but just when you think it might go nuts up pops the genius that is Dave Lee with a track that changes the direction again.I finally got the chance to play a track (well part of it) from the excellent Joey Negro Defected release from 2005.  See if you can spot it, it's not in for long.There was a surprise for everyone towards the end, myself included when the bass kicked in on "Find Your Light".  A track with the longest remix name I think I've ever seen, answers on a postcard please if you know of a longer one .The mix ends with a classic from the early 90's .  No attempt made to mix it in.  I've tried once before and it sounded rubbish!  The voice is unmistakable and it brings back so many great memories.Not sure whether the guys at Local Talk will give me a high five or slapped wrist as we have no fewer than 4 tracks from the inform label.  Great work guys.Great to see everyone in the chatroom again this week, especially BabacarD who was up early in the US to have a listen.  Appreciate your support guys.Thanks to everyone that has reached out with feedback and messages on Twitter, FB, the Podcast comments or c2eMusic posts.  Always nice to hear from people around the world, at least I know people are listening and hopefully enjoying :).
