In our fourth episode of our Early Childhood Education & Care mini-series, Josh speaks to Anh Vu Sawyer of the Southeast Asian Coalition about some of the challenges that immigrants and refugees face when coming to the U.S. and how the coalition works towards helping these families adjust and thrive by treating them with dignity and respect and providing a sense of community. Early childhood is a crucial time of development for all children, but for children of immigrant and refugee families, it is also so important to allow them to discover and learn about their culture as well as providing them with the resources to invest in their future.
