On the pod, Andrew and Elisa have spoken to a range of fantastic association leaders all who have shared their challenges and wins of 2020. In the final episode of this year the hosts welcome two expert association executives to discuss their session at the ASAE 2020 Conference titled "Executive SOS".  

Aliyah Horton, Executive Director at Maryland Pharmacists Association & Christina Garneski, Vice President at the American Public Transportation Association held the session earlier this year and came on the show to discuss a range of important challenges executives face in their day to day lives.

They talk;

• Avoiding burnout
• How to achieve a work-life balance through self-care
• How to switch off without feeling guilty
• Being a self-aware and emotionally intelligent leader
• The importance of being actively aware of staff needs and being compassionate towards them
• Doing your best and being the best you can be
