Ceramic Material That Can Grow With Bones

Listen Later

In 1969, Professor Larry Hench developed a glass that can grow with bones. His close friend and colleague, David Greenspan, helped Professor Hench develop the material into BioGlass, a product that is used in orthopedic and dental bone graft materials. His big insight into entrepreneurship? “Never lie to yourself.” *This episode was originally released on September 25, 2018.*
