1 Corinthians 5:19-26

Even though the pandemic might be nearing its “end,” there’s still plenty of uncertainty swirling around. We’ve all had to deal with the uncertainty of changed plans this last year. We’ve all had to deal with the uncertainty of our own futures and the future of our country. We’ve all been uncertain in how to interact with others who don’t operate the same way we do. We live in uncertain times and maybe that’s true all the time. Pandemic or not, uncertainty is here to stay in this world.

But Easter = Certainty. Easter gives us a sure, certain, living hope for a bright future and the joy of redemption and eternal life that starts already today—no matter what else is happening to us to get us down. Jesus lives! Your victory is won! You can be certain that God loves you! You can be certain that your salvation is accomplished! The tomb is empty. He is risen! He is risen indeed!
