Certainty Is Bullsh!t.

Listen Later

"These are uncertain times." How many times have you heard that in the past 18 months? It's the favourite phrase used by media outlets - and friends - whenever we are talking about the state of the world, the pandemic, climate change, or anything else that is clusterf*ck-y about life right now on the planet.

But here's the thing: Certainty never existed. It was always an elaborate fiction, an illusion, a way of comforting ourselves against the fleeting nature of our human experience. Dig in with me on this episode as I explore why we cling to it, and how we can all build some kinds of certainty in times of chronic uncertainty.

With love and gratitude,

Israel. xo

If I'm talking about it, it's because I truly believe in it. 2) Earning affiliate commissions helps me continue producing free content like this podcast, and sharing these messages with people who need to hear them.
