We are in week 2 of our Relationship Restart series. Last week Richie and Jenna spoke about dating and how to have a right view of it. This week we have a two-part message. The first was for all students, in which we talked about what it means to rest and abide in Jesus because we know it is from this place that all relationships we are in will be transformed.

We have a pretty special episode for you this week as we finish up our identity series. This series has been a blessing for our community, we’ve talked about and discussed what it means to recognize the lies we tend to believe and how we aren’t meant to carry them. Jesus speaks against these lies and gives us a fresh and true identity in the Kingdom of God that we can carry around boldly in our everyday lives. This week we are finishing our series with a message about True identity, but Logan speaks about how true identity is all about receiving, the Lord is constantly speaking truth over us. We also heard from two students and their journey with identity and how they have battled against the lies of the world but have recognized and stepped into the truth that the Lord says.

We are currently in week two of our Identity series, all tied around equipping and providing a space for students to break free from worldly identities and receive their true identity in the Kingdom. To teach about false and shared identities this week is Jermery Day. He teaches about what false identity is and how we all live with some of it every day. He also shows how we all live in the same shared identity given by the lord. Some of these are simply that we are children of God, God’s masterpieces, and accepted by Christ.

This week we are kicking off our new series; identity. Our goal is to equip and provide a space for students not only to receive their kingdom identity but also to show how to live in it during school, in their families, and wherever they go. We also go over what it means to be a priest, the Bible says that we are all priests in the Kingdom which at its roots just means that we minister, worship, and bless other people.

This week we are talking about the power of fasting as we wrap up our Withhold to Behold series. We discuss how fasting is meant to draw us closer to Him, and the truth that fasting is not about the denial of something, but about satisfaction. We deny food, social media, whatever it may be, in order to receive satisfaction that only the Lord can give us.

As we wrap up our Culture series this week we take time to learn what it looks like to live in unity with Jesus and how we are called to not be a people divided against each other but as a people living together. We want to be a community that waits together and also a community that chases after goals together.

This week Richie teaches out of a story in 2nd Samuel that reminds us that we have a seat at the King's table and that we are constantly invited back into his presence. We want to be a community that relentlessly seeks His presence.

Our heart is for everyone in our community and whoever listens to this recognizes and lives through the merciful love of Jesus Christ. We know the power of sin is the secrecy of it, so we want to be a culture defined by living in the light. You are loved and forgiven! Walk in freedom today.
