Many of us "vintage" or older listeners of Hip Hop show a true disdain for the melodic direction "emceeing" has gone in recent years. I'm not gonna say we LIKED it, but we have grown to appreciate what melodic emcees bring to the table. On this episode though, we try and undercover the history of melodic Hip Hop. We attempt to determine the Godfathers of the sub-genre. And we definitely try and NOT be hypocritical old heads. That part isn't so easy LOL.
