Last week the list for 2021 Nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame were announced. Among notable names were Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige. We heard a few differing opinions on the topic. Some instantly showed pride, others confusion. Some demanded Black Music have its own Hall of Fame. Other wondered whether We belong there. I think Allan and I made a strong, real-world argument as to why Black Musicians belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. We take time to analyze the plight of Hip Hop as it relates to Rock music historically. You KNOW we had to play Devil's Advocate on who belongs in and who doesn't. S we also discuss which legends from the genre deserve a spot. THAT was fun lol.
