Since 2021, Esteban holds a Professorship in Applied Mathematics at the (School of Aeronautics in the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid), which is one of the top schools of aeronautics in Europe with a high reputation in fluid dynamics.   

Esteban is coming from an unusual academic trajectory, since he completed his  PhD in 2012 at the University of Oxford but had six years of previous work experience in industry. Altogether, he has more than 20 years of academic/industrial experience in numerical techniques for fluid problems and wind turbine design for energy generation.—————————————————————————————
