Kris is the Founder and CEO of We Want Storage, self-storage acquisitions and education company. He hunts for storage deals to acquire, and has consulted on over $50 million in storage acquisitions for third party groups. Prior to starting We Want Storage, he was the Acquisitions Director for a private equity fund where he helped raise roughly $5 million in equity and closed $9 million in self-storage deals. Kris is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and Kenan-Flagler Business School where he served as a Fund Manager on the business school’s real estate private equity fund, the only student-lead real estate fund in the U.S.
