The letter to the Philippians was written from a Roman prison cell. Paul wants us to see that even though our hands may be tied, God's hands are never tied. God used Paul's chains to advance the Gospel. Paul's critics couldn't stop the advance of the Gospel message, and Paul's crisis still honored Christ. God often uses prison cells as pulpits to preach the Gospel to others. Your setbacks may be setups for someone else's salvation!
