World Suicide Prevention Day is commemorated on 10 September to promote worldwide commitment and action to prevent suicides and subsequently September acts as the month of suicide awareness and prevention! On average, almost 3 000 people commit suicide daily and approximately one million people commit suicide each year around the globe. Below are links to some helplines for those that need it:
