Challenges of Screening for Suicide in Adolescents

Listen Later

This is low yield for medical students who are focused on shelf-exam material. The focus of this episode is to help students understand the context for screening for suicide in adolescents. The value of this episode lies in consideration of the problem of suicide, the strategies that are being employed and how the research suggests the process is going. It may be helpful for students considering primary care and are interested in actively addressing mental health in their clinical setting.
