The South African National Council for the Blind last week held its 44th National Conference in Polokwane under the theme: Strengthening the voice of the blind and partially sighted. The c9onference brought together key role players of government, interest groups, provincial and national member organisations. Some of the items they discussed were empowering blind and partially sighted persons to promote and defend their rights and also access to quality education.
