Dr. Alison Bocquee is a clinical psychologist, and advanced certified child and adolescent schema therapist, based in Brisbane, Australia. With over 20 years experience working in a range of public/government and private settings, including acute/hospital and community mental health, disability, medical and legal settings. In 2024 Ishe started her own solo practice, Bocquee Psychology, to afford flexibility as she and her husband raise their four school-aged children.
Dr. Bocquee is skilled and passionate about providing intervention to younger clients (children, adolescents, young adults, and families) and is well educated in various psychological interventions, including CBT, ACT, mindfulness and compassion focused approaches, and play therapy where appropriate. Her passion is schema therapy and she is currently one of only two active and accredited child and adolescent schema therapists in Australia. She feels privileged to be able to support parents in their parenting journey. Additionally, Dr. Bocquee offers supervision and training to other allied health professionals. When not at work she enjoys her family life, bike riding, being outdoors, bushwalking, reading, baking, listening to music, dabbling in arts and craft, and dreaming about her next holiday adventure.
