Many of us tend to "individualize" our faith, treating community as a nice add-on but something that's not ultimately necessary. But the fact is that our life in Christ – and our pursuit of change through Him – is meant to be a corporate reality. Each of us has a personal, individual relationship with Jesus, but God's design and desire is that we live out this relationship in the context of Christ-centered community.
