James 2:14-24 Because you obeyed my voice says the Lord I will bless you. Gen. 22:15-19 James compares faith to the human body.. He likens works to the spirit. The body without the spirit is lifeless, useless, and valueless. So faith without works is dead, ineffective, worthless. We demonstrate that we already know God when we obey his commands

You have faith, now you must apply- (put to action. put into effort and use) the Word of God
