From poverty to abundance, one step at a time.

David T.S. Wood grew up in a poverty stricken home, his parents divorced and squabbling, and his friends nothing but bad influences. He still remembers the beatings he received from schoolmates simply because he lived in the slums. His early life was riddled with crime and delinquency until a chance trip out of the country led him into the opportunity to chart a new course for himself. In this conversation you’ll hear him describe the touching and often comical way things turned out and how he has come to be the trainer’s trainer in the personal development realm.

Your story can change. But you have to change it.

Too many people are convinced that the hand they’ve been dealt in life is all they have to work with. They don’t realize that they can choose a different path. But it takes a determined mindset and a lot of hard work to see it through, and today’s conversation is between two men who have walked that path themselves. David T.S. Wood and Louis both understand the power of believing in bigger things and taking the risks necessary to see if they can happen. David’s story is powerful, an example of the kinds of things that can happen when you believe in yourself enough to step out. Be sure you listen to this inspiring story.

The determination to pursue his dreams.

Once David T.S. Wood has a dream, he was determined that nothing could keep him from accomplishing it. The conversation on today’s episode is filled with stories that demonstrate that fact. You’ll hear how he bombed when he MC’d a wedding, how he found hope from a workshop he attended, and how he told T. Harv Ecker himself that there was nothing Harv could do to stop David from speaking on Harv’s stage. It’s an amazing story of how David accomplished all those things and more, and you’ll hear it all on this episode of Crank It Up.

What legacy do you want to leave behind?

It may sound morbid to some people, but the power of looking at the end of your life is a tool that David T.S. Wood believes everyone should make use of. What do you want to leave behind? How do you want to be remembered? Are those desires only wishful thinking or are you willing to do something to make sure they happen?
