Well, hey there. So we’re coming into a season of new beginnings,  a new year and 2025 is just around the corner, and I’m excited to see what the Lord has in mind for this new year. But as I was thinking about the new year, I was thinking about this reality. If you don’t like your story, we all have the ability and the capability to write our self a new one. It’s all about visualization, it’s all about having vision, it’s all about connecting with our purpose and our destiny. But so many people say, I can’t stand the position I’m in. I can’t stand the place I’m in, I can’t stand my current story. Well we have the ability, we have the choice and we have the right to write ourselves into another story. We can literally do that. 

I was coaching someone the other day and they were really discussing the power of visualization in their life and how when they are running and they’re exercising that they spend the time to really visualize what they want in life. Some may think that that new age or whatever but it is not new age, it’s actually very biblical. It’s without vision, people parish, and if you are not literally setting your mind towards the story that you want, towards the life that you want, towards the destiny that God is set for you and that you believe that He is written for you… it’s all within His will, but when you connect with His will you have to visualize it, you have to visualize, you have to feel it. What would it feel like if I was in that position, what would it feel like if I was in that story, what would it feel like if I was connected just like that to my choices, my reality, my chosen story. 

First and foremost we have to visualize, we have to visualize our story, we have to visualize where we are, and then, after that point comes the planning. Without the vision perish. If you don’t have a vision of where you’re going, what you want for this year, this year coming up, you don’t have the vision of what it looks like, what it feels like, what it brings you, what it affords for you to give to others then you will get exactly that…the story that’s current. So first and foremost, we visualize, first and foremost we get a vision of what the destiny is that we want and that we need and that we desire to live and then we start the planning out, we lay it out. We lay out the plan, we lay out the steps to accomplish that. But visualization is first and foremost and always will be.  

So where do you get the vision? You pray about it ,you ask the Lord for it, you ask the Lord what is this year going to look like for me? What is it that You want to accomplish in this life, this year for me, for You and for the world? What is it? And then you have to you have to put yourself in that situation. 

So if you’re struggling right now and you’re saying I don’t like my story. I hate the story that I’m in and I want a new story then all you have to do is connect and put yourself in another one and that is beautiful. I love you appreciate you and happy new year.

As we approach 2025, it’s the perfect time to reflect and reset. Embrace the power of getting a vision and the faith to rewrite the story of your life.
