John C. Murray is Dean of Global Engagement at Hesston College, Hesston, KS. This role includes international student recruitment, establishing international educational partnerships, and cultivating a culturally and religiously diverse campus environment which itself becomes a laboratory for learning the skills of cross-cultural competency.  

He has held congregational and denominational leadership roles in the Mennonite Church USA. Murray is chair of the board of Menno Clinic India, which he helped to establish in 2002. He has been a participant in the Council on Foreign Relations Religion and Foreign Policy Initiative for the past 10 years. . He has spoken at congregations, conferences, and colleges across the United States and at LCC International University in Klaipeda, Lithuania and at Sunan Kaligaja State Islamic University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. 

He holds a Masters in Theological Studies from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary and a Masters in Interfaith Action from Claremont Lincoln University.
