In Episode 6, we spotlight Youth Changemaker Rayan Kha, founder of TechEase—a Philanthropy Tank program created to help senior citizens stay safe online and feel confident using modern technology. TechEase provides patient, hands‑on support, clear cybersecurity education, and practical tools that empower older adults to protect their privacy, strengthen digital independence, and stay connected to the people who matter most.

Through Philanthropy Tank, students create year‑round programs that solve a challenge in our community. Through the process of creating a program, pitching it to philanthropist investors and mentors, and implementing the program, students learn many transferable professional skills and impact the community.

Rayan’s inspiration began with his own grandparents in India, who struggled to keep up with rapidly changing technology. After helping them set up video‑calling tools during a visit, he saw firsthand how life‑changing digital confidence can be—and realized that many seniors face the same challenge. What began as helping seniors make simple calls and messages has grown into a full digital‑literacy and cybersecurity initiative, ensuring that older adults aren’t left behind as the world becomes increasingly connected.
