One of the things I’ve learned from this podcast is that sometimes, not everything goes the way you plan it or how you hope and expect it to be. Rather than letting that hinder the process, sometimes it just takes a new perspective to help you move forward. As is the case with a lot of things in life.

This week on a brand new episode of A Million Little Adventures, I took a chance and entered a contest. A GoDaddy Contest looking for Canada’s Next Great Podcaster! The prize for the contest was a $5,000 cash prize as well as a 10-episode series on a local radio show. Pretty cool right? I thought why the heck not??

Unfortunately, I did not end up winning. Did I really think I was going to win? No. However I felt myself sparked with joy from trying something new. Something that I have been missing for sometime now. Entering the contest helped me realized something I had forgotten, progress is more important than perfection.
