Changing Surgical Approach Does Not Increase Dislocation Risk, Study Finds

In this episode, recorded at the 2021 AAHKS Annual Meeting, co-hosts, Dustin J. Schuett, DO and Stefano A. Bini, MD discussed the impact of changing surgical approaches had on dislocation. They were joined by Joshua R. Harmer, MD and Cody C. Wyles, MD who reviewed almost 800 revision THAs and found that there were no statistically significant differences in the incidence of dislocations, re-revisions, reoperations, and non-operative complications among those with concordant and discordant approaches.
