Courtney Barron is a Senior Executive in the Western Australian Government. Over the past 12 years Courtney has undertaken a range of legal and policy roles in Government, and in her current position as Director of Executive Government Services at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Cabinet, its sub-Committees and Executive Council.

With lived experience of the welfare and public housing system, Courtney is a vocal advocate for women, in particular in relation to employment, housing and health. She pursues these passions through mentoring and board work. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (honours) from the University of Western Australia, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
