Katie is the property journalist at WA Business News. Katie started with the company in 2016, shortly after completing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Western Australia.

Katie left Business News in 2018 for a stint in copywriting before returning to the editorial team last year. During her professional career, Katie has received several awards for her writing, including a few honors at the MEAA's State Media Awards and being named a national finalist for the Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising's Young Creative of the Year in 2019.
