One day it hit him...So he told his partner Catherine Juon "you and I need to go for a walk."  As they did laps around the orphanage in South Africa he looked at her and said "Catherine, are we helping are hurting?"  They had successful allowed the team at Care Village to dream big dreams, but were they really possible?

For Lee Willwerth if the answer to that was yes than great, but if they weren't sure than what were they going to do about it.  Within one month of that conversation Lee & Catherine founded a non profit organization called Empower Change Inc, geared toward partnering with visionaries in really difficult environments that have big visions for fundamentally transforming the status quo.

"If you want to improve something by 2x you can probably bootstrap that, but if you want to fundamentally change the equation and go for transformational change, 10xing the situation, that may not be possible with limited resources."
