Mantra: Man- from the root 'Manas' meaning Mind. Tra - to protect, save, liberate, redeem, tool

I won't go into the meaning of Om as it can vary due to the different ancient traditions, however to put it simply we could call it the sound of God / the sound of the cosmos/ the sound of creation.
