2020 has definitely been one for the books. Hopefully through the chaos you've been able to find good and if not take this as your invitation to start finding ways to change that.
In this episode I discuss:
Thought Prompts:
Please excuse the two loud thumps, I hit my mic and desk. Whoops. I'm learning!
This episode is bringing me yet another vulnerability hangover but I'm keeping it authentic, so enjoy!

"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. Do the thing you think you cannot do." -Eleanor Roosevelt

Today's episode is going to give me a vulnerability hangover but I'm here for it!
I talk about my Spiritual Journey which includes:
I'm sharing this early on in my podcast because spirituality is a huge part of my life and has been instrumental for my growth. Where I am now is very different than where I was even just 2-3 years ago. I hope this episode serves as a reminder that it is okay to change and evolve as you grow, not just mentally but spiritually, too. We should be questioning things and creating our own views and beliefs rather than accepting everything that was taught to us. This is not to say that everything I say is going to resonate with you or be something you believe in, and that is okay! Take what resonates & leave what doesn't!

"It's a new voice, meaning, one we're not familiar with, even though it's the most important we could ever hear. It's also new in the sense that it has been hidden from us. Meaning, it's the last place we're taught to look for the voice of god, right here in our own heart." -Meggan Watterson | Mary Magdalene Revealed
I couldn't help myself and had to share my gratitude with you all. I am so grateful for all the love and support I've received so far, and yes I'm aware I just started! Never too early to be thankful though!
"When your world moves too fast and you lose yourself in the chaos, introduce yourself to each color of the sunset. Reacquaint yourself with the earth beneath your feet. Thank the air that surrounds you with every breath you take. Find yourself in the appreciation of life." -Christy Ann Martine

Today we're talking about truth. Not THE truth but your truth and other's truths. We're exploring the ideas of different perspectives and finding the middle ground where we can hold space for others.
More of what I get into:
This has been a huge theme for me this year but it's something I always have to come back to and keep reminding myself. It's not always easy to do but it's helping me a lot, especially in the chaos that is 2020. I hope that you find something that resonates and helps you in this episode!

As a final side note, living your truth is so hard. It can feel lonely, especially when you move away from the person you were pretending or trying to be for the sake of others. People might be mad at you or not understand why you're "changing". It can get lonely but living your truth is far more rewarding than hiding your true self and you'll start attracting YOUR people. The people you vibe with, the people that will love all your weirdness, your flaws, your humanness. And don't forget, we're in this together!
& before we go here is a perfect quote for us to meditate on. "Would you rather be at war with yourself and at peace with the world or at peace with yourself and at war with the world?" -Was unable to find the original author but Nipsey Hussle quoted in it an interview saying he read it one time.
In this episode I talk about who this podcast MIGHT be good for and why. I'll give a hint... the curious.
