Chapel Hill Mayor Pam Hemminger spoke with 97.9 The Hill's Andrew Stuckey on Thursday, May 11th. She offered condolences to the family and loved ones of Chapel Hill Police Officer Mike Mineer, who died in an automobile accident off duty earlier this week. Also included is a lengthy discussion of the initial budget proposal from Interim Town Manager Chris Blue. The budget proposal increases the budget 11% from the previous year. She also discussed the use of the town's ARPA funds--as voted on by the public.
