In the shadowy streets of Prague, April 5, 1433, the coterie delves deeper into the mystery of the slain elder Tzimisce. While feeding and prowling through the night, tensions flare as each member seeks sustenance in their unique way. At the night market, they encounter Istvan, a retainer of the deceased elder, who reveals fragments of his master's dealings and the strange circumstances of his death, including a mysterious package tied to the crusaders.

The investigation leads to Istvan's and Dragon’s strongholds, unveiling guarded secrets, strange artifacts, and traces of dark rituals. Clues point to Sabina, Dragon’s sister and a mystic bound to the elder’s esoteric experiments. She reveals that the elder fell victim to a malicious ritual, likely sent to destroy him. A foreign crossbowman tails the group, hinting at external threats, possibly tied to the crusaders besieging the city.

As the group probes deeper, Sabina conducts a ritual to uncover more truths. Just as the ritual concludes, a Gargoyle crashes through the ceiling, interrupting the scene in chaos.
