The Hate You Give is a novel written by Angie Thomas, a #1 best selling author.  The main character, Starr Carter, is just sixteen years old and has to learn how to deal with two words.  The poor black neighborhood where she lives and the fancy suburban prep school where she goes to School.  This amazing novel brings us to head with racism, police violence and one girl in the middle of it all.
