It begins with the day I received a call from a federal agent about my mom, who was a victim of a scam.

This episode is deeply personal. It holds the years I carried quietly, the confusion, the grief, and the pain that never had a place to be shared… until now.

Those years will live here, in this chapter.

As difficult as it has been to relive, it must be told to understand the devastation these crimes leave behind, and why the search for truth has to continue.
