The mirror can show us what we look like. 

But it can never show us everything we've survived.

It can't show the quiet battles, the difficult seasons, or the courage it took to keep going when no one else knew how hard it was.

In this chapter, we reflect on self-compassion, growth, and learning to see ourselves with the same grace we so freely give to others. 

Sometimes the person in the mirror doesn't need more criticism.

Sometimes they simply need to be seen.
