After a full moon at the Potter's bound by Moody's magic, Remus goes to Diagon Alley with the marauders and uses his compass to locate Grant. The compass spins wildly indicating Grant is in danger, so Remus and Sirius immediately leave to find him. They travel to Mile End and discover Grant severely beaten and injured in a squat, and they spend the night with him providing comfort and healing until morning.
