Chapter 18: The Beautiful Surrender

"My prayer and hope are that something in this book has challenged and encouraged you to continue to surrender your life to Jesus in deeper ways. I hope you have been able to learn from these stories that God is not only faithful to us, but desires us to be living examples to others of His faithfulness. We do not get to choose the neighbour that is in front of us but we are called to love them. I hope you have been able to see this great dance between the reception of God’s love and the response and responsibility that can come from this. Ultimately, the Beautiful Surrender is only possible because of the great surrendering of Jesus to the Father of all things, shown toward us through the power of the Spirit. We are His sons and daughters. Let us rise, living a life worthy of the call, for such a time as this. For this generation and the next, to our nation and all the nations of this world, to God be the glory."
