The 1962 India-China war altered the power politics of the region. The way a communist juggernaut humbled the champions of non-alignment, damaged the world forever. China displayed a near-perfect mix of politics, deceit, and raw force to defeat India. The strikingly similar pattern of the recent conflicts at Galwan valley, demands a thorough understanding of the 1962 war, so that as an educated and responsible citizen, we support the present Indian government in such a way that they can objectively take the learnings from previous conflicts and rationally act upon the prevailing situation.
