While the Marauders enjoy their summer, Sirius suffers through Bellatrix’s wedding and family drama, while James happily trains everyone for Quidditch. Multiple letters fly back and forth as James, Sirius, and Peter desperately try to convince Remus to visit, but his Matron keeps him from going. They meet briefly in Diagon Alley, where Sirius raves about a new David Bowie album, but Remus remains distant and ends the letters with a short note promising to see them on the train.
