Physical Appearance of God's Messenger - A famous poem by Hassan ibn Sabit, the poet of the era, goes as follows: My eyes have not seen a person better than you No women has given birth to a more beautiful person than you You have been created without any blemish As if you have been created however you wished. A beautiful poem is a short example of how the sahaba saw the Prophet. He was of beautiful stature, neither short nor tall, with broad shoulders, dark hair, dark eyes, slightly curly hair. Beautiful face, slightly red tone, white in complexion. He was truly a physical specimen, aswell as an intellectual one. He had big biceps and arms, and his stomach was not protruding. When he walked, it was as he was going downhill. When he speaked, he would turn his whole body towards the person he was speaking to. Oh Messenger of Allah, our eyes haven't witnessed You on Earth, may we witness You in Heaven!
