As in all things, we start from the beginning. The first book I will be reading is Adil Salahi's masterful biography of the Prophet of Islam 'Muhammad: Man and Prophet.' This tells the story not only of the prophet, but also the religious and cultural development of the religion that is followed by a quarter of the global population.
