Listen Later

In this episode, Omowunmi recounts her journey to becoming a licensed and practicing attorney. From the age of three when she first voiced her desire to be a lawyer to law school graduation and passing the bar at the age of twenty-three. Omowunmi recounts the tumultuous years of law school and private practice and what (or who) finally pushed her out of a languishing dream to pursue a new path. This episode is dedicated to Attorney Oluseun Williams of Fort Washington, MD (Omowunmi’s cousin), who inspired her to write about her law school experience.
