The fact that Jesus is in the boat does not mean that storms would not beat against you. It will, but be rest assured that with Him in your boat you are safe. This is the lesson the disciples learnt eventually. Jesus was sleeping in the boat and the wind and the sea were beating against their boat. Jesus was still sleeping. How could someone have sleep in the midst of storm? If you know your God nothing intimidates you. When the skills and experiences of the disciples couldn’t steer the boat any longer they went to the master for help. There are certain situations that would require the supernatural assuage it. Jesus woke up, looked at their faces and saw only fear. He questioned them,”why are you so fearful. You of little faith.” And He got up, rebuked the wind and the sea and they ceased. Glory to God.
