Chapter 30: Gloom settles on us
I really enjoy Prey's constant fear of unicorns, even though the average Canterlot citizen obviously doesn't know any offensive spells. I'm not saying his fear is unjustified, just that his constant over-estimation of the average unicorn's distortive capabilities makes me chuckle.
Also, I personally thought that Gloom and Crimson took the cellar harder than I think they should have given their background. They're hardened warriors, the books says that they're not strangers to death, yet a couple corpses really rattled them. Sure, the scene was grizzly and awful, but it makes them seem more sheltered than I had originally assumed. Maybe I'm wrong, what do you think?
