We have found a winner of the “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” awards! Our book of the week, The Bridge Kingdom by Danielle L. Jensen was not a book we’d pick up based on the cover alone and now you get to listen to us swoon over how much we love. d it. Lesson learned, authors, lesson learned.
In other news, it’s suicide prevention awareness month and choosing to prioritize this, we’ve gone off brand and into a more serious tone with The Last Time We Say Goodbye by Cynthia Hand. We review the first three and predict the plot, while Jerrica reluctantly accepts the impossibility of a love triangle. Happy reading listeners!
