Across the river in Manhattan, Daniel King is a human bartender and writer whose dreams of success haven't played out. When an unknown virus hits the city turning a majority of the human population into chumps (zombies) and superchumps (vampire zombies), Daniel and Valentine and their respective species join forces to get the hell out of New York and survive.
