Chapter 4: We're Going on a Stag Hunt
This week, Em and Jordy push further into the Grishaverse with Chapters 16-20 of Leigh Bardugo’s Shadow and Bone.
With our hosts in a silly goofy mood, we accelerate towards the climax of this first installment of the Grishaverse. Baghra explains the dangers of positive parenting, so naturally we draw parallels to Tonya Harding and Kung Fu Panda. Later, Alina and Mal finally reunite and celebrate with an hours-long silent hike, but eventually reconcile with a sunset date to hunt a magical stag. We end with the Darkling holding all the cards - the stag, the Sun Summoner, and the Tracker - how will they get out of this one?
