This is a more challenging chapter.  It deals with risk and return.  From EAR to APR to arithmetic and geometric returns.  Then it gets into standard deviations, risk premiums, excess returns, and Sharpe Ratios.  It also deals with VaR, higher moments of distributions and more.  Like the mountain stage in the Tour de France, this chapter will likely be a differentiator on student performance.
